October 9, 2021 - Pop and pour. Drinking nicely. Good balance. Very smooth tannin. Long finish.
February 18, 2020 - Large scale Pinot noir by P&H standards, but nothing to complain about here. Dark red fruit, cinnamon spice and garrigue all work well together. The integrated oak and acidity are in harmony. Good depth and texture. Good juice.

April 8, 2019 - Dark red fruit, garrigue and medium spice. Everything is in balance. Soft texture and an appealing finish. I love the weight of the Patz & Hall pinots. This is in a great drinking window now, but has a hand full of years left. Good juice!

December 29, 2018 - Dark red fruit, rich and flavorful without being too heavy. Great spice notes contribute to the wines energy and balance. Expressive on the nose and palate. Great texture and complexity. This wine has a good five years of enjoyment left, but it is in a wonderful place today. Good juice.

June 24, 2017 - Wonderful red fruit,well integrated oak with tannins a touch on the wild side. They seemed to smooth out nicely after an hour of air. This will be better in two years and should have about five years or more drinking pleasure.
January 17, 2017 - Aerated and decanted for 30 minutes. Did not change much over the next 60 minutes . Lots of red fruit with numerous spices, moderate tannin and acidity. Complex flavors made for a great wine.
