  March 23, 2020 - Compared when these Jada wines are young, I strongly encourage aging! At his point, nearly 10 years out, the real heaviness of some of their wines has lightened up and the tannins have softened and this wine is a great example of how good a Paso BDX blend can be. Dark fruit, vanilla, slight oak, soft tannins. Summarizing-- a great wine.

  October 23, 2015 - Opened by a friend and enjoyed over a couple of hours. Aromas of blue and black fruits, flowers- wild phlox- and vanilla; there's a good dose of oak here but there's an abundance of fruit too. Develops a chocolate note as it opens further. Flavors of vanilla, cherry, blue fruit and oak spices. Lengthy finish. Very young and primary, I think this could use some time to tame the wood and there's plenty of fruit to last while that happens. I'd love to try this again in three to five years.
