Jasper Hofman Likes this wine: 90 points
November 16, 2013 - Opened at 1PM, decanted at 5PM, started drinking at 6PM and peaking at 8PM when I had almost finished the bottle. Once more shows that (too) young Barbaresco needs some air to show its sheer beauty. It got there, firm but manageable tannins, cherries, some black tea and very well balanced. To me this remains one of the best buys in the area. Compared to GC Montefico, Narin is more elegant and feminine, whereas Montefico is punching your palate with its tannic structure and power. Narin 2010, store for a while or open and decant well before consuming.
