January 14, 2024 - Almost black in color. Rich, dense, and very ripe. Intense black fruit and cassis, but the acidic core and the age keep it from being too much. Not sure I would have liked this young, but it is drinking well now. Well made Rhone style wine without some of the dollar signs.

October 22, 2023 - Superb for the price and quite good even disregarding what a good deal it is. Pairs fantastic with BBQ (as one would expect from a Shiraz).

    October 22, 2023 - Upgraded from 2 years ago, hitting it's stride.

August 10, 2023 - Dark ruby with garnet edges. Prominent aromas of dark plums, roses, ashes, leather, coffee, vanillin oak. Soft dark cherry and red current fruit on the palate, nice zap of medium to high acids, very smooth medium tannins, 14.5% alcohol. Long finish, lovely balance and drive, more complex and integrated than I remember from previous tastings.

May 10, 2023 - Wow, this impressed me. Still abundant fruit with good structure, with lots of interesting dark fruit and dark berry flavors and aromas, with a fair amount of oak but it also lends interesting complexity.
