Community Tasting Notes 12

January 1, 2023 - A real gentle fruit bomb. Aromatics of strawberry, followed by cherry, raspberry, apples, and maybe a hint of fresh bread. Tastes of the same fruits, cold brew and creamer, with no tannins and a soft mouthfeel. Not much of a finish, but that’s okay. It brings me back to drink more.

July 3, 2020 - Light bodied. Nose is strawberry and some organic funk. Taste has berry notes, cherry cough drop, but a coffee ground bitterness underneath. Perhaps the fruit has faded over time.

August 27, 2018 - Clear. Light ruby with faded garnet rim and orangish hue. Heavy tearing.

Clean. Med+ aroma, Developing. Tart baked cherry, strawberry, and red plum with notes of slate, leather, mint, cinnamon, violets, and pink flowers with vanilla, toast and cedar.

Dry palate with taste ripe cherry, strawberry, and plum with notes of mint, sage, slate, violets, cedar, and vanilla. Med- tannin, Med+ acid, High EtoH. Round and creamy. Fruit forward but well balanced by acid and alcohol. Medium finish and medium+ complexity.

    Very enjoyable wine.

August 9, 2018 - Light on its toes and my tongue. A hint of strawberry sweetness casts a spell. Trey knocked it out of the park.
