July 3, 2020 - Light bodied. Nose is strawberry and some organic funk. Taste has berry notes, cherry cough drop, but a coffee ground bitterness underneath. Perhaps the fruit has faded over time.

August 27, 2018 - Clear. Light ruby with faded garnet rim and orangish hue. Heavy tearing.

Clean. Med+ aroma, Developing. Tart baked cherry, strawberry, and red plum with notes of slate, leather, mint, cinnamon, violets, and pink flowers with vanilla, toast and cedar.

Dry palate with taste ripe cherry, strawberry, and plum with notes of mint, sage, slate, violets, cedar, and vanilla. Med- tannin, Med+ acid, High EtoH. Round and creamy. Fruit forward but well balanced by acid and alcohol. Medium finish and medium+ complexity.

    Very enjoyable wine.

August 9, 2018 - Light on its toes and my tongue. A hint of strawberry sweetness casts a spell. Trey knocked it out of the park.

March 18, 2016 - Nice wine that is starting to come into it's wheelhouse. Never will be a stunner, but a good wine.

March 4, 2016 - Light in character despite its 14.5% alcohol content. Lower tannin and firm acidity. Strawberry fruit with earthy characteristics. Improves with time out of the bottle.

June 7, 2014 - Took to a blind tasting of 15 WA wines, and this was laughably last. Bummer.

April 26, 2014 - Quite light, with bright fruit. Will refrain from further assessment as it followed an unbelievable wine, a 2012 Clos Solene Harmonie, which was far heavier. Over half the bottle left today, will reassess.
