May 16, 2022 - I don’t think I am being hyperbolic when I say this is the most surprising champagne value I have encountered. I bought a 6 pack from Crush many years ago and this third bottle marks a trifecta of classic quality bottles. Ripe apples and brioche. Deep - winey - complex. Mature. Long. I am going to drink the remaining bottles soon as I don’t see this getting any better. Wow. Have never seen the wine again - I need to look harder. (95)
September 25, 2020 - Delicious fully mature Champagne upon first sip, faded a bit in the glass and some funky notes arose - slight TCA?

August 17, 2019 - A fantastic showing of this wine. With red Delicious apples, caramel corn, and candied ginger on the nose, one might expect a blousy wine. However, on the palate, the wine was both full and tightly structured, with notes of green pear, ginger, straw, and crushed minerals.
February 9, 2019 - Some downers the past years, but this was stunning. Fresh with perfect ripe fruit.
January 3, 2018 - Absolutely stunning champagne. I purchased a 6 pack a number of years ago and have not seen it since which is too bad. Full, expressive yet zippy and succulent. Really explodes in the mouth - apple cider. The value here is really extraordinary - just wish I could find more. (96)
November 20, 2017 - Showing a bit more advanced than I would have expected. There is that sort of hay/straw quality of oxidation that is prominent. Very fresh on the palate but not very complex. Not a lot of density still going on either so I think this should be drank now.
October 15, 2017 - Ikke den friskeste flasken. Grei til litt spicy mat. Snart klar for de evige jaktmarker.
May 3, 2017 - Spottswoode Vertical 93,94,95,96 & a Bevy of '94 Napa Gems Among Others (Capitalle Grille, Mpls, MN): Medium gold color. Drank 1 glass over 20 minutes. Apple, red fruit, full bodied, apple skin, quince, mineral, medium plus finish. Very good. 92+pts.
December 18, 2016 - Beautiful color,, expected brioche bouquet, juiciest red delicious apple, bit of strawberry, light red fruits. Targeted acidity. Lovely tiny tiny bubbles. Some honey and tangerine on the palate. Drank on its own, but was so full bodied made me dream of food pairing (if you have an idea shoot me a note). This is a proper wine. Sophisticated. Deserves respect.
