April 10, 2023 - Still young and powerful. Light yellow color, elegant nose. Citrus and white peach. Intense vanilla notes and full bodied. Wonderfully balanced. Some acidity in the finish in harmony with fruit secondary notes. Will last many more years.

April 26, 2017 - PNP. Cork perfect. Color straw. Nose has apples and a citrus note. Swishing shows brisk acidity and some minerals. Juicy fruit when sipped but the acid spine keeps things lively. Good to go tonight.
September 13, 2016 - Rich, honey, oak, fairly long. You feel that this is a warmer climate than your average Sudtirol! Good stuff
September 10, 2016 - Honey gold color, tart green apple, lemon and pineapple flavors, full and rich profile with a long finish. Moderate acidity.
March 15, 2016 - PNP. cork perfect. color dark straw. nose started a little peachy but then became unmistakeably chardonnay with bright apples and citrus rind. swishing this shows polished fruit supported by tingly acid that is not rough and just hints of oak tannin on the finish. sipping this shows even more richness but also more acid and a tingly medium length finish. I really like this a lot, and find it a refreshing change from overly oaked new world renditions of this varietal. showing no signs of age. I would have a hard time placing this blind but it is distinctly different from any new world and most old world chardonnays. I am becoming an alois lageder fan.
