July 18, 2019 - Very respectable considering the price. Has aged very well and has a lot of fruit left. Full bodied with intense flavor. Medium finish. Very soft tannins. Paired well with dinner.

April 15, 2016 - Still has a lot of fruit. Typical Lodi Zintaste. No pepper.

December 4, 2011 - At opening,.aromas of red berries, Pipe tobacco, on the palate rich candied fruit up front, minerals, layered vanilla finished with a well integrated charred oak finish. I've had this wine before and it gets very rich and concentrated after an hour in a decanter. Finding a zin that will out drink this in an $11 price range will be very difficult. Most zins at this price are artificial, mass produced styled fruit bombs

November 20, 2011 - Overall this wine is a bit weak but okay for a weekday wine. There's a blend of red fruit and some spice. Then palate goes sweet with some strawberry and chocolate notes. The finish is pretty weak. Some heat, that's not that pleasant. The wine is okay. But, wouldn't buy. This one was brought to us at a party/potluck.

March 28, 2011 - This is a personal style score and wine. If you like this style, it seems well made. Not my type.
