April 3, 2022 - This was everything one could have wanted or expected the wine to be. the green flavors of its youth have evolved to cigar box/tobacco aromas. ....expressive on the nose and palate, with smooth but present tannins. This was one of those bottles one opens expecting 'nice' and it was so much more than that. This has developed and improved in bottle, unlike so many Cal Cabs and Bordeaux blends. I can't see this getting better, but what do I know? 92-93 points.
