April 22, 2022 - This wine is finally coming into its own. It needed the time to become a superb wine. Note that this is a Dollarhide Estate, which I generally like less than their Rutherford Estate cabs.

March 7, 2019 - After almost 5 years in my cellar, finally! A monster cab, after 2 hours of air it aromatically was as effusive as any wine I've had. Bold cassis, blackberries, blueberries, licorice. On the palate, sweet cherries, minerality, overall intensity with a bit of cinder box, finishes with balanced acidity & tannins. Does a fine job with the Green Chef meal kit tonight, but food is almost a distraction when drinking this wine, a fantastic sipping experience all by itself.
