April 7, 2024 - Medium depth of colour, garnet; now tasting attractively mature, with flavours of fruitcake and some more savoury notes. Probably at its peak now.

March 6, 2024 - I had hoped for more nose developments on the nose. But clear garnet,medium expressive nose, some tobacco, licorice and spice to the nose. Tannins are resolved and great balance through the finish.

February 19, 2024 - GRAND TASTING #2: PnP w/2 hr. glass time. Clear, ruby/purple color. Med intensity nose. Ideal drinking window. Integrated, dark fruit profile, full body but not hot, aged, saddle, wet earth, tobacco, plum. Long resolved tannins. Classic CdP, nothing off.

February 16, 2024 - This seems to be at the ideal point of maturity, with concentrated fruit, savoury notes and a suggestion of fruit cake. Most enjoyable.
