October 7, 2023 - Overall a nice wine. The age is showing but the fruit hasn’t been loss completely. I would recommend drinking in the next 1-2 years.
September 28, 2019 - Consistent notes to last bottle, even though this one was lightly corked; fortunately was able to rectify with cellophane. Enjoyable, crowd pleasing, pretty good QPR. Great with burgers tonight.
September 25, 2018 - In a great spot with a few more top notch years remaining.
March 1, 2018 - Yes, it is that good! And likely for the next 3-5 years.
October 21, 2017 - Not incredibly complex, but very soft and easy to drink. Good value at the price point.
August 12, 2017 - 1st of 4 for me. Dense, purplish ruby in color. Aromas of dark fruits, dark chocolate, violets, graphite, earth, eucalyptus, and anise seed. Medium body and acid, medium(+) finish, smooth and round texture and tannin, and flavors of dark and dark red fruits, dark chocolate, coconut, dried spices, and graphite minerality. Solid cab/merlot blend.
April 4, 2017 - P&P. Had 3 bottles over the past year or so. Very solid Bordeaux blend. Smooth, lots of leather and blueberry to my nose and palate. Snagged on Last Bottle and one that lived up to the LB hype, which is occasionally overkill...will definitely try to pick up some more if I can find it.
December 9, 2016 - Amazing smooth blend - drinks like a $40 bottle
June 10, 2016 - P&P. This wine started out rather flat and not interesting at all. I put it aside and revisited several hours later, to find a transformation had occurred (see what I did there?). Cassis and black cherry fruit, earth and tobacco. Finish of dark chocolate. Quite smooth and creamy texture. Lighter acid, medium+ body, light tannins. I would say this should probably be drank soonish. Drink now - 2018.
April 27, 2016 - Metallic.
