  January 13, 2019 - NR cuz I think this may have been flawed, I bought randomly the 2010 Caillot Meursault "Clos du Cromin" on a surf trip four years ago, then went and scrounged for about a case of bottles cuz it was sooooo good, so when I saw this bottle from Caillot and 2010 I figured worth a try... this was overly tart (and I like tart / acidity) to the point of undrinkable... waited a couple hours and still nasty so poured down the drain... could have been bottle damage or simply over the hill... not sure... and never knew this producer before and haven't seem him/her since

  April 11, 2015 - Michel Caillot, who took over the estate from his father Roger, is the nephew of Pierre Morey, former winemaker at Domaine Leflaive, and now proprietor of Domaine Pierre Morey and Maison Morey-Blanc. ‘Les Herbeux’, is a tiny plot single vineyard plot opposite the Meursault ‘Barre’ vineyard. Effectively treated like Meursaut and really has some of the qualities. Oak noticeable but integrated. The 2010 vintage helps. Beginning to drink well but time in hand. Very good.

  June 11, 2014 - These white Bourgognes can be an awesome value and this one is for sure. Classic white Burgundy with plenty of minerality, citrus and perfect acidity on a medium+ body frame. Great with grilled whole trout. Paid $20 and drinks like $35+. Ugly label art but love the contents.
