July 18, 2021 - Surprised me to learn this is a village wine. Really liked the reductive nose and the precise body of white stone fruits, lemon, and bright acid. Would be really curious to see how this ages. Probably didn't give it enough love due to the extensive lineup, but I enjoyed this one!

November 27, 2019 - A big wine with ripe citrus and tropical fruits in abundance. Perhaps showing just a bit of oxidation. Lacked energetic acids and any real definition to the palate. No other experiences with the '11 Chevalieres against which to benchmark this bottle.

August 30, 2019 - Outstanding bottle.... Very detailed aromatics - cut herbs, white orchard fruit, mineral. Super length. 2 of 3 bottles from my six pack have been on this level.

May 25, 2017 - Like drinking a liquified lemon drop, such intense lemon and sugar with dense viscosity. Somehow, though, it works for this wine, because there is an insane amount of dry extract on the finish. My sense is this is just in the early stages of a long life, and will someday be a knockout. Then again, maybe it just turns into a weird lemon drop.

First time I can recall tasting this producer, apparently I'm late to the party. I'd be very curious to try other vintages, as '11 can be a bit weird.

January 22, 2017 - Razor sharp acidity and minerality. The nose is reductive. Palate delivers above its village level. Especially when his chevaliere is adjacent to coch dury. This is so backward. It will be even better in 5-10 years
