November 17, 2017 - No explaining how or why this wine was so good this evening. It is hitting on all measures, a touch of brett, lots of really deep cherry, good acid and solid finish. Far better than many of the pricier Italians in my cellar. Wow...

February 27, 2016 - Either closed or past its prime. Flat and metallic finish.

July 5, 2015 - Good as usual. Had with veal Parmesan.

January 27, 2015 - On day one this wine exhibited leather and a bit of cherry. I enjoyed it. By day 3 the wine was absolutly humming and It softened the wine integrated and took on an almost Pinot like character. This is a suprising wine and I would say to let it age 5 years. I plan on buying some and laying it down.
