August 21, 2020 - In a great place. Lots of ripe, plump berries on the nose with ample vanilla influence. Think berry cobbler with some cinnamon in the background and some vanilla ice cream on the side. Flavors are similar but deeper with some earth and cedar hanging around. Full bodied. Tannins start subtle and build over time. Tremendous finish.

June 8, 2017 - It took a couple of hours to open up, but when it did, oh boy. What a blend! Nice mix of berries and vanilla with nuances of leather, tobacco, and spice, all built on firm, silky tannins. Mighty long finish. If it's not at its peak I'll be sad since this is my last bottle...

March 31, 2017 - Lovely. Drinking the same as 2-3 years ago. Time didn't help OR hinder. I still think the '12 vintage is better.
