    November 6, 2022 - Redolent pine needle resin, vanilla bean, and blueberries. Rich, salty, and expressive. I'm liking it the more I taste it. Similar to Dead Arm in a way. The oak has integrated nicely with the fruit, and the finish is lengthy. Drinking well.

    March 28, 2020 - 28.3.2020:++ Kork kam schlecht raus, Amarone Stil, sehr würzig, recht alkoholisch, starkes Depot in Flasche, nach 1h Tomate, BBQ, volle Tanine, unheimlich präsent für das Alter, stofflig, langer Abgang, MonCherie, etwas vordergründige Säure, eher Malbec/Shiraz als CabS, toller Wein, jetzt leer trinken!

    28.9.2019:++ schöner dichter Roter, Vanille, Holz, Zimt, Lorbeere, Sauerkirsche, volles Aroma, Tanine schön eingebunden, etwas Zartbitterschokolade, mind 1h dekantieren, anspruchsvoll

    12.11.2016++ Grosses Kino, tolle dunkle Früchte und Gewürze, Nelken, Zimt, Brombeere, unheimlich lecker, etwas nach Tabak, jetzt bis 2018;

    External: The intensely varietal 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Serpico boasts a fragrant black currant, floral, tobacco leaf, and spice box-scented nose along with intense fruit, wonderful purity, superb density, and remarkable elegance as well as definition. While accessible, it appears to have the stuffing and balance necessary to evolve for a decade or more.

    May 6, 2017 - An Aussie cab made in the style of Italian Amarone! Talk about a code switch....but I like it. Lots of fruit, juicy fruit, reds and blacks. Some baking spice and vanilla. Sweetness that's not cloying, just well-balanced. It's time to drink up!

    September 15, 2016 - Beautiful well integrated Aussie Cab. Crimson w/edge bricking, well integrated oak & high toned fruit offering up a luscious mid palate of cassis/black berries & subtle spice shadings and saddle leather & pipe tobacco, ending in a fine finish of the same. Nothing heavy here or brooding. Very good and satisfying bottle; probably at peak.
