August 1, 2020 - PnP, but took a few minutes to open. Lots of red fruit on the nose and the medium bodied palate, along with some earthy notes, balanced acidity, and completely integrated tannins. Overall, a somewhat darker profiled Grenache than many. However, after about an hour the fruit began to fade a bit, allowing the acidity to increase. Do not wait to enjoy this wine.

May 14, 2020 - Pop and pour...has aged well...light to medium red in color...took some swirling to open up...dark cherry, raspberry, some cola and earthy notes...very enjoyable...won't wait much longer to drink my last bottle.

December 1, 2018 - This is my last of 6 bottles, the last one I consumed 3 years ago and I rated that one 93. I drank the first few bottles way too soon, scoring them at 90. It's a solid 94 right now, deep and rich, a real classic grenache. I'm enjoying this last bottle with some baby back ribs (grenache is a perfect BBQ wine). Outstanding effort from Herman Story.
