November 4, 2013 - Dark, almost inky black in color. Aromas of dark, black cherry, mineral and burnt cigar box. The palate was a little hard edged thru day 2 with dark red fruit, high toned menthol, stout tannins and medium acidity. Day 2: a tannic arcade with an overlay of bright fruit. Dark cherries and mineral and in the twilight some acidity. Medium finish

October 21, 2013 - Retailer tasting: Cherry liquor chocolates in the bouquet. Some spiciness as well. On the palate cherries as well, ok acidity and little tannin. A bit drying in the finish. Ok wine.
