November 24, 2022 - Like meeting an old friend after 12 years!! Slightly tart on opening, decanted for about 45 mins and opens up nicely. Not a lot of fruit on the nose but it’s drinking intensely with concentrated dark fruits. Went really well with the roast turkey. Will need to drink my last 2010 pretty quickly.

October 20, 2022 - Unfortunately past it's prime. It is ok to drink but better to dump.

December 4, 2021 - Tasted out of a Coravin to see if it’s ready yet. It may be, but it will clearly need some decanting.

September 20, 2020 - A bit of a treat to open this up as we haven't been having much wine these days with our crazy diet. But cooking out steaks and there is something about red meat and red wine that is pretty compelling. It's a Cali-style cab and so for me I'd have liked some more age even coming out of a half bottle. But it tamed down a bit with some air and held up well with the red meat.

May 23, 2020 - Drank with blue cheese filets @ Connors with my daughter and husband. Dark fruit nose with slightly earthy and tobacco flavor profile. Delicious and luscious and perfect drinking window @ 10 yrs.

September 9, 2019 - it was very good on the first day after one hour of openning, but even better on the second day.

May 15, 2018 - At this point needs at least 2+ hours in decanter. Going to leave my remaining bottles for a couple of years.

March 10, 2017 - Drank over two nights and had very different experiences. First night ripe red fruits dominated, overly jammy and not much balance. Could taste some of the tannin on the back end but didn't sync. Second night different story. Dark fruits emerged, some secondaries of tobacco and herbs. Fruit took a step back and was very much in balance. I'd suggest a long decant (had it open 2+ hours night one and didn't come together).
