August 24, 2023 - The aromatics so typical of s.b are no more to be found here so, purists can move on. However this remains a very nice evolved wine with plenty of freshness and crisp acidity. Well made, enjoyable .

June 26, 2022 - Hyper mineral on the nose, so steely and gravelly. Also sweet flowers and really fresh lemon. Also dried lemon thyme. The palate is crazy. Highly mineral and herby, and slightly bitter on the attack, that gives way to a sweeter lemon, then more pithy and tart at the beginning of the finish, then some more sweetness, then back to bitter. The herbaceousness becomes more pronounced with time. The nose gets better with each glass. Moreish and thirst quenching.

June 26, 2022 - Opened three hours prior to drinking. Drank over two hours. Pours a stunning shade of crystal clear deep straw with green flecks. Akin to taking a sledgehammer to a rock face and inhaling the dry dust while lemon verbena and lemon thyme grow around you. Steely, tart, and austere with bitter grapefruit pith, wild gooseberry, and melon skin. Spring water fresh, pure, and precise. An outstanding expression.

May 2, 2020 - Still so young, the 2012 Fumé de Pouilly boasts an extroverted nose of freshly mown grass, lychee, lemon, and subtle shishito pepper. Weightier on the palate than you’d expect from the nose, with lanolin flavors emerging, carrying through to a long finish. Best to let these rest for a few more years. 92

April 9, 2020 - Very nice. No signs of age at all. Color is light and clear.
Some nice citrus on the nose. Light on the palate. Very clean and smooth. Not overpowering in any way.
