Community Tasting Notes 2

February 20, 2014 - Crimson red, with purple hues of medium depth.
Young, natural-wine nose, fresh, with cherries and aromatic herbs.
On day two also an apple note together with some smokiness emerged.
The palate has a strong blood-orange note. Very subtle tannin responsible for a delicate but perceivable structure. Medium-light body, high acidity, and a just bitter note on the finish. Very enjoyable.
It kept drinking well over several days. Ten days later is still fine and shows a very fresh and juicy palate.

October 26, 2013 - tasted at a free wine tasting at De Ponti's in Milan. Still too young this Fumin reveals a stunning balance of tannins and acidity coupled with elegant oak. Fruity and fresh. A few years in cellar will certainly improve this bottle
