    February 11, 2017 - La robe est rubis translucide, très légèrement évolué en parois. Le nez émane les fruits rouges, la canneberge, la fumée, les épices et le bois avec un fond légèrement oxydé / madérisé. La bouche est salivante, et démontre une jolie matière, mais laisse une impression de réduction et de légère oxydation. Je crois qu'elle aurait été meilleure il y a 6 mois / 1 an... :(

    October 9, 2016 - A nose full of red and dark cherries and vanilla oak and a hint of turpentine. Quite open already. The palate mirrors the nose with a rather dominant cherry flavor and some red currants. The oak is well integrated. Medium acidity and smooth tannins give enough structure and the finish is fruity and medium (+). So a pleasant wine certainly but for me just a bit too much on the cherry side to be complex and interesting.

This is regarding the aromas btw, the palate is fairly elegant even though it's a fair bit more extracted than your standard Burgundy Pinot. Lots and lots of spices on the nose together with raspberry and cherry fruit. There is a fair bit of oak as well, but it stays in the backseat. Good acidity and a bit of dryness on the palate. Lots of extraction. This is a wine of high quality but it lacks complexion and elegance on the nose. Will probably get better with 5-7 years on its back.

    August 7, 2015 - Very Burgundian in style. Complex, voluptuous and earthy fruity with excellent density and interesting aromas. Ends longish, fresh and rolling. A surprise.

    May 30, 2014 - Day 2 from bottle --- ruby red --- Nose fresh, fruity, sourness, nice wood notes, sour cherry, some pralines, some strawberries, some earthiness --- Palate fresh, vivid, sour cherry, pepper, some plums, nice bitter tone --- Finishes on fruity charachter, minerality, some marzipan and some ash. Nice vine, tasty, reminds me of top German Pinot Noirs but with a bit more drinking pleasure. Yesterday it was more integrated, more round with more fruit and underlying sweetness, 93 yesterday, 91 today.
