January 23, 2022 - Pnp from magnum. Slighty bricky on the edges. The nose is very subtle. Tannins are fully intergrated (a little on the dusty side) but the fruit is still there and is exhibiting its full age. Very smooth profile. I enjoyed this. Oddly, eating obscured its delicate character (med rare filet) . Really showed well after meal was done and we were just drinking the wine by itself. One more mag left. Will try in a year or so.
Drink up. It might last another 3 or 4 years. Very good QPR for an aged Burgundy.1 person found this helpful Comment -

November 8, 2021 - From magnum, this showed wonderfully. Beautiful and pure cherry fruit--just so much pinot character. Not the slightest bit overdone--perfect balance of fruit and acid. What a wonderful wine to follow through a meal. Drinking great right now, and easily 7 - 10 years of drinking ahead, especially in mag. This cost $65?! Insane!

February 1, 2021 - Très beau vin qui pointe en haut de son niveau bel équilibre et finesse, encore des notes subtiles d’élevage avec du cèdre noble, très plaisant et belle surprise.

July 26, 2016 - Very earthy nose with dark berries and cedar. Same on the palate with a tart finish. Really nice stuff showing a ton of finesse for the price. True to the vintage and no shame in drinking now. $30 for deliciously rustic Burgundy? I'm in.

October 18, 2015 - Fresh but still enjoyable pinot fruit. Decent balance for a 2011. Fruit is not too rustic. Reasonably balanced. Abit young, but the fruit is reasonably delicate. We be even better in 5 years. Good QPR at $35 Cdn.
