December 26, 2017 - Powerful and complex with a lot of fruit and pleasant tannins. Lingering aftertaste

July 31, 2016 - Very easy drinking wine. Berry front and peppery back.

April 10, 2016 - Similar to last time. Paired well with a hearty pasta dish (red sauce and turkey meatballs).

October 16, 2015 - There appears to be some controversy about this wine judging by the variety of scores. It's got good depth of flavor, but it is a little rough around the edges. The deep, dark fruit--the raisny flavor--is by design and is a consequence of the way the wine is made. So there's that.

August 28, 2015 - Underrated wine by most. Yes, it is raisiny and has a sweet edge but it's very full, fruity, and smooth. Not a great wine but pairs well with unctuous, tomato-based pasta dishes. We have 8 bottles and are very happy with the purchase.
