October 1, 2021 - Well integrated with mature dark fruit and bramble
July 7, 2020 - This is fully mature with all of the structural elements fully integrated. The flavors completely match my note from five years ago.
June 25, 2020 - This wine consists of an old vine field blend of roughly 70% Zin, along with Alicante Bouschet, Tempranillo, Petite Sirah, Teroldego, and other varietals. Its maturing wonderfully showing a beautiful bright ruby red color. On the palate it's still predominantly fruit forward with Bing Cherry, brambley black raspberry and plum. Ink and earthy spices appear on the mid-palate. This paired excellent with our homemade pizzas. Drink now for its continued youthful deliciousness, or over the next 5 years.
June 24, 2020 - These Heritage wines are a terrific value. My wife couldn't put a finger on why but thought this was just an incredible bottle of wine.
May 2, 2020 - No specific notes, but this was ready to drink, with at least a few years left.
March 22, 2020 - Nice sweet dark fruit with blueberry compote and bramble
February 4, 2020 - Very balanced, fruit up front, predominantly blueberry. Easy drinking crowd plesser.
August 21, 2019 - Clear, medium garnet – plum, spice, blackberry, licorice, wet leaves. Medium acid, medium tannins, 14.8% alcohol, medium body, medium+ finish; Drinking well now.
December 12, 2018 - Very strong old vine blend from Morgan and Chris.
November 2, 2018 - Love this old vine/vineyard field blend with 70% zin. Loads of red and black fruits coming in waves. A very nice amount of spice on the back end that stays with the long finish. A high quality wine that should be tried. This bottle had at least another 4 years of peak drinking in it.
