June 28, 2021 - not really my preferred style. very big wine that served as a nice ringer for over oaked napa cult stuff.

amusing wine, but this belongs in someone else cellar.

June 1, 2021 - Clear ruby with a dark core and early signs of aging around the rim.
Rich dark friut and cigar box aromas, some tertiary notes.
Light body, juicy and has some plummy, earthy flavors. A little underwhelming, but very and easy to drink. Somewhat short finish.

April 22, 2021 - Really enjoyed. Super smooth. Had the similar green pepper on the nose on the PNP as the last bottle. Day 2 it went away and moved to the palate, although this time not as prevalent. A wonderful bottle and QPR @23 delivered.

December 30, 2020 - Decanted 30 minutes. Nice cassis aromas with a little vanilla and maybe a touch of green bell pepper. Nice sweet cassis fruit with still a hint of bell pepper. Lush on the palate and finish. Seems to be at peak, although has structure for a few more years.

December 13, 2020 - Day 1 it screams green out of the glass. Green pepper, peppercorns and pine. If tasting blind, I definitely would not have pegged it as a Cabernet Sauvignon. I really enjoyed the wine and found myself amazed by the nose over and over. Day 2 it loses its nose somewhat and brings the "green" qualites to the palate. Very smooth and quite enjoyable.
