July 14, 2015 - Tuesday Night Double Blind <$40 (Bin 75): Pale maroon core with pale rim, see through; exotic nose, sweet, medicinal, watermelon, smoky, granite, some vegetal; candied a bit but enough tension to keep it serious, nice medicinal note, sweet soft red and dark fruit with a green edge (reminiscent of a soft young Chinon); very nice, called Beaujolais.

February 18, 2015 - Fairly transparent in the colour. Very spicy in the nose, plum and cherry. In the mouth, it's a bit edgy and green (typical for 2012), but also nicely juicy and tart in the finish. Rather to drink in the short than in the medium term.

February 7, 2015 - Quite inviting aromas and flavors of sour cherry, blackcurrant juice and blueberry juice. This is a nice wine with a lively acidity. However, the wine leaves a lazy and boneless impression because of the lack of tannins.

November 21, 2014 - Delicious. I liked the dark fruit versus lifted acidity thing going on. It's got tons of flavor but presents black cherry, raspberry, blueberry, and white pepper in such a way as to never feel heavy or fat. There's a solid line of minerality running straight down the palate too, bringing yet another dimension. While this may not have the complexity of more famous producers wines, it's worth every penny and provided a wonderfully drinkable Beaujolais for us.

November 15, 2014 - E&R's 5th Annual Beaujolais Weekend; 11/15/2014-11/16/2014 (E&R Wine Shop, Portland OR): Smooth and softly fruited aromas. Tart. Really lovely expression of fruit on the palate. Quite rich. Smooth. Puckering on the finish, but nice soft fruit. Very pure, balanced, and focused effort. Very drinkable.
