December 23, 2023 - Gorgeous black-ruby color, penetrating aromas of candied black cherries, black raspberry, cola, thyme, menthol, sweet pipe tobacco and a final touch of brown sugar. Deep and full throttle with every whiff. The palate was effortlessly silky and caressing, offering a panoply of succulent, fresh red fruit and baking spice flavors. Stunning, in its prime, but with plenty of miles ahead. Suave and sumptuous!

October 21, 2023 - Needed some time to pen up. Expressive nose of red fruit with earthy scents and spices. Quite a bit of structure. Good but not as elegant as the best vintages.

March 12, 2021 - Tasted blind. Darkly pitched nose with earthy aromas dominating. Rich palate, masculine, tannins are demanding. The style of this wine is more elegant today.
