Nose of chalk and toast, good acidity and not too much sugar, some red currant on the palate. Not complex, but feels very balanced and elegant
April 6, 2024 - Disgorged on 20.10.20, 2017 base. Nice salmon colour. Nose of medium intensity with mineral core backed by notes by strawberry, dried cherry and candied kumquat. On the palate, this is red fruit forwarded with good mineral texture. Medium long finish. Nice Champagne.

December 15, 2021 - Deep salmon colored, dg 2017, full of red berry scents, lifted, bright with red fruit, red plum and stone flavors, balanced and strait-forward, nice with a variety of Chinese foods

Very pleasant on the nose with red berries and chocolate. Starting to show some drying fruit on the palate, but still drinking very well.
June 25, 2020 - (Stored for an extra decade after disgorgement in 2010)
Pale orange colour with a never ending stream of very fine bubbles. Mature nose showing hazelnuts, mint chocolate and some raspberries. Still fresh and fruity palate with a nice and lengthy finish. Of course not as fresh with primary fruit as in it's youth, but still showing plenty of fruity notes and very pleasant.

feels like a walk through the forrest and picking up all the small red berries... wild strawberries (very cool only tasted this in billecart salmon before) but not so sweet as in pinkbill, some hints of cherries and red currant.
Beautiful pale copper/salmon color...
Taste is mostly fresh, fruity and clean with again strawberries.
Very good quality and fun to drink. Bubbles are a bit harsher at times but not a big issue. Medium body and medium length. It doesnt feel perfectly round like some small part in the middle is missing compared to billecart rose but...
If less than 30€ its a fine buy...

November 28, 2019 - Thanksgiving week in Piemonte; 11/22/2019-11/30/2019 (Milan, Barolo, Alba, Barbaresco): From the wine list at Osteria Veglia. Thanksgiving lunch, so we need to start with some bubbles. A pretty standard rosé, strawberry some minerals - nice but not a thinker. First time with this producer.
