August 7, 2018 - Nose of freshly cut hay and motor oil. A bit of bubblegum on the front of the palate, mixed w black licorice, changing to clover, mushroom, and earth. Still good astringency and acid, but balanced. Can still age for another 2-3 years. Maybe as much as 5. Good qpr. Funky for sure. Very interesting.

May 8, 2016 - Today this vintage was too old to enjoy. The wine had became flat and with a sour aftertaste. I tried my last two bottles and I sinked them both. :-(

December 6, 2014 - A private lunch (Restaurant Rijks, Amsterdam, NL): Clean, sweet fruit, ripe red cherries, hint of spicy honey, minerals and spice, quite refined, not rustic at all, silky texture, bright acidity, good tannic grip and length.

March 14, 2014 - First impression of bacon, meat and fried nuts. Some oak, then followed by dark, ripe berries. Solid palate, good tannins and overall a very good wine.
