November 17, 2019 - This is just a magnificent syrah. So much more life in it... really at the beginning of a wide tasting window... but not missing anything. Perhaps with another 4-5 years of sitting this would be a 98 point wine!

December 25, 2018 - PnP. Sweet on the nose, but savory on the palate. Resolved tannins with some white pepper on the finish. If I had more, would hold a few more years to allow more complexity to develop. Well done!

December 13, 2017 - Pop and pour. Initially tasted with food (chicken soup with bean thread noodles, in case you were wondering). Then, tasted on its own amd followed for about 4 hours.
    Deep purple color.
Nose shows tobacco, some spice and earth elements, and dark fruits.
Initial taste offers up bright acidity that keeps this light and inviting. Hoping for greater depth, it finally starts opening up after a few hours. The acidity remains keeping it fresh, with good dark fruits, and some savory tobacco and dried herbs on the finish.
    Enjoyable.

November 6, 2017 - Open for 4 hours and really singing. Terrific nose and a nice mouthfeel. A little tannic at first...but allowing it to open up revealed a very nice wine.
