April 22, 2015 - Purple fruit, plum and tobacco on the nose. Plum and sherry cask on the palate. Medium finish.

December 24, 2014 - This was enjoyed by the family with a spicy sausage dish on Christmas Eve. Fruity and with a reasonable amount going on. Pleased to say that I have another tucked away, so will report further when that is opened!
December 21, 2014 - Brooding black ruby. Nose sports coffee and dark bitter chocolate. On the palate, rich, full-bodied, with a rich texture. Excellent balance. Flavors are mocha, dark chocolate, and Asian spices. Chewy, with a nice long finish. Drinkable now but should last for many years. 4-11-16-8: 89/100.
December 20, 2014 - Dark purple with a violet rim. Fair legs. Crushed raspberries and violets in the nose. More lurking, but hard to put a finger on it, lots of promise. Fairly rich and gutsy fruit in the mouth, but smooth and balanced, not overripe or too fruity. On the rustic side, but drinkable even at this young age. 4-13-15-8: 90/100.
August 14, 2014 - Had a trial at the lake with friends...good vino, but is above average price. Good QPR. New shipment from Opimian in CAN. This is a nice portugese offering. Tasty, full of somewhat complex fruit. Nose has dark cherry, light vanilla/mocha qualities. Palate is med+ bodied with light acid and tannin. Fruit is similar to nose, maybe more chocolate covered blackberries with the other notes. Drinks fine now and into 2018+
January 26, 2014 - Is a great conversation wine, quite a bit going on with herbs and some musty notes. This is not a huge wine but it is drinkable now and if it breathes for 30-minutes it is very approachable.
