December 7, 2021 - This has matured into a beautiful wine. Very smooth, with pomegranate and bright cherries, herbal nuances, great balance, and a long finish. Wonderful.
July 19, 2019 - Drinking great. Smooth tannins.
March 10, 2017 - Very nice wine. Nothing out of place and very balanced with fine tannins. Has the structure for many more years.

February 15, 2016 - Dark purple with barely visible ruby highlights. Blueberry, oak spice, and leather nose. Medium bodied, blackberries, black cherries, pepper, well integrated sweet tannins, dark chocolate, smoke, nice acid, and a long finish. Wow. Drinking really well now, yet I think it has many years ahead of it.
August 15, 2015 - Full bodied and Complex
January 30, 2015 - Younger cherry and blueberry initially, then some nice menthol and pipe tobacco. A little chewy red licorice mid-late as it shows more complexity and a little age here. Gets better the longer you keep it in your mouth. Finish is long and satisfying, with lingering red licorice and some dusty feel. 90+ pts.
