December 26, 2023 - Opened on Christmas and found the alcohol a bit too forward. But then... retained a quarter bottle and on day 2? My goodness! This wine is a showstopper!
Brilliant nose, taste of blueberry, black cherry, fig, black pepper, white pepper, and a vanilla bourbon finish. Outstanding.1 person found this helpful Comment -

September 29, 2023 - CdP blind tasting. Illuminating evening, while there were some nice and complex wines there were also quite a few misses. Issues revolved around either not aging well and becoming pruney, oxidative with cooked fruit aromas or just being too heavy/sweet/alcoholic. TN: Nice showing here. Red fruit mixed with dark fruit, good balance, not too heavy handed elegant, a touch of VA though.
