January 5, 2024 - 2011 was such a cool year so you needed to be patient. Glad we held it as this one is now quite lovely. Popped and poured and it was ready to go in just a few minutes. Delicate and velvety. Darker notes coming through, pomegranate on the finish

August 28, 2020 - Similar aromatics from prior notes: black cherry, cranberry, pomegranate, sandalwood. Full bodied on the palate, but not nearly as vibrant as the aromatics - dull and insipid. Probably long in the tooth at this point

May 11, 2020 - This wine stood the test of time. Many wines from 2011 in the Willamette Valley were rather thin and tart. They say wines from a cool vintage are meant for the cellar, but I found that all too many from 2011 were still too hollow, even with some cellar time.
Not so with this one. This wine brought a complex array of red fruits, earth notes, forest floor, and had a nice filled out mid palate that made it both intriguing and pleasure-inducing at the same time. -
