November 20, 2013 - Through the Heart of France; 11/17/2013-11/25/2013 (Centre, Aubrac, Languedoc and Paris): Medium ruby, perfect clarity. Aromas of bark. Deeply extracted, dark chocolate and blueberry complemented by a dollop of herb. Adequate acidity, round tannin that does not interfere with early enjoyment. Good, highly polished prestige cuvée that falls short of being exciting.
