May 15, 2020 - Nose of cherry, black pepper, earth, smoke and herbs. It smells like it's going to be tannic, but it's not: this has incredible balance right now. Lots of lush cherry, raspberry and blueberry, backed with a hefty dose of iron and leather, and a whiff of cedar and cinnamon. When you open your mouth to take a sip, it's like a glorious perfume greets your tongue.

October 3, 2018 - This needs more time. Which is too bad as it is my only bottle. Very restrained Bdx style cab. Starts to open up after a few hours, but still pretty closed and tight. Pleasant enough after a few hours -- some nice red fruits, strong savory notes of leather and wood -- pretty strong tannins still. Too early for me to tell how much is under there, but there seems to be some good fruit and structure. Honestly, I would want to wait another five years on this one.

Blueberry with dry tannins, somewhat short finish.
