October 30, 2014 - A lovely deep violet color. Full of vibrant and intense cherry fruit, with substantial tannins and some spice on the finish. The tannins are not at all harsh, but rather provide a good foil to the deep fruit. This wine seems like it should be heavy, but it finishes very fresh and lively. A good QPR, and perfect daily drinker.

May 24, 2014 - This is a lovely Dolcetto. I agree that it has a tannic backbone, but it is not overly so. It is a nice purple color and it is aromatic. Very fruity with notes of dried cherries, violets, and rose petal.
