July 20, 2022 - Served by the bottle at Noizé in London.
Beautiful floral perfume. Cherry and blackcurrant with some spice. Full bodied, rich yet elegant with an undertow of power. Bright acidity well balanced with fine, integrated, tannins. Everything was in the right place.
One of the more Burgundian Barolos that I have had (more tannic of course!). I was blown away and will be looking out for more Massolino wines. -

November 18, 2020 - I’m on a good streak, another fabulous Barolo with plenty more to give in the years ahead. Like a piedmont version of bonnes mares, rich dark fruits, cherries lightly dusted in fine dark chocolate, exotic spices, violets and rose, blood orange, menthol and mint. Very good mid palate weight with a lingering finish. Wish I had more.

January 26, 2015 - With the talk on 2010 Barolo decided to buy this. So pleased I did. This hits all the my senses in the right proportions, which means detail, complexity and balance. This may be a 40+ year wine but it is pretty good now.
