Community Tasting Notes 2

November 5, 2017 - Vinetasters: Pégaü (1989-2007) (Skokie, IL): From half-litre. Reminds me more of sharpie marker ink than wine. The nose is high-toned with some sickly sweet black fruit, and the palate is pretty much the same. A bit sweet, with a touch of acidity. A bit simplistic and easy. There were also some high-toned chemically flavours on the palate that detracted from the wine.
