  January 1, 2020 - I had a Coravin glass of the wine with a seared, rare buffalo strip steak, which was a great pairing.
  
  Cherry, some plum, blackberry, currants and sone fine tannins.
  
  A better showing than last time. (I Coravined some a few weeks ago, which had cherry, oak and not much else. It was not liked by my spouse)

  May 13, 2016 - Definitely Cali meets Italy ... opens up w great fruit and nice tannic balance in 30 minutes or so ... surprised at the lower ratings, quite right on ...

  May 5, 2016 - Fruit candy nose -- strawberry and grape Jolly Ranchers. Also chocolate covered cherries.
  
  Sharp tannins early on. Opens nicely. Mineral notes are present, which is surprising given the nose. Nice complex combination of senses.

  January 3, 2016 - Enjoyed with classic Chicago deep dish pizza; drank over the course of 2 hours. Initial impression was fruit, but over course of meal wine developed nicely as tannins and acidity integrated nicely with fruit. Give this one a little time after opening and it will reward you.
