April 7, 2021 - Graceful, elegant, and restrained. Quite tertiary. Drinking very nicely for my taste right now, though I do recall enjoying it in its youth a bit more.
February 21, 2019 - Popped and poured. Gentle aroma of roses and cinnamon. Mix of flavors, including soft red fruit, mint, and a bit of spicy rhubarb. Silky finish. This is delicate, with mutable flavors supported by a solid backbone. A little VA on first opening, which goes away almost immediately. Lovely wine.
August 8, 2016 - Red fruit (cherry, slight strawberry), floral, fruit almost like a jolly rancher. Good acidity. Lingering finish. Really enjoyable.
December 7, 2015 - Love this wine, delicate but structured, flavors of dried roses and cherries, delicious
November 23, 2015 - badly corked
November 23, 2015 - badly corked !
May 6, 2015 - Quite effusive nose. Cherry pit and florals as well as a sprinkling of dusty spice on the nose and palate. A smidge of strawberry jam adds welcome sweetness and counterpoint to the higher notes. Great balance as always with Sunier. This bottling, though more floral and brighter than his Morgon, doesn't disappoint. 12% abv.
April 24, 2015 - Light, pretty and somewhat austere. There's a note of dried flowers, not much fruit on the tongue, bright acid and an intriguing finish where the skin and seeds and stems come through. More thoughtful than pleasurable
October 30, 2014 - Steps behind the Fleurie, it just is. Good and food friendly. More brush and earth, less pleasure.
October 15, 2014 - Not as elegant as fleurie but equally well balanced, definitely a fan of this producer
