March 28, 2023 - Blackberries zing on the nose with wood and herbs, almost garrique. Sweet black and red fruit held with mature soft tannins with lots going on mid-palate and a rich finish. Lovely

December 24, 2021 - Good local feel here with plenty of garrigue showing. Relatively light, easy going, very open and drinking perfectly. Plenty of primary fruit still here, fine harmony.

    January 13, 2021 - 70% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre, 10% Counoise/Cinsault
Damask purple-red. On the nose: geranium leaf, saddle leather, dried rose petals. Coming together. Tannins almost softened out. Medium to medium-full; dark red/black fruits, some spice, depths of flavour. Fairly elegant for a C-d-P.

December 26, 2020 - Decanted one hour. Menthol and cherries. One dimensional, as it tasted as though Syrah was somehow dominating this grape cocktail.

July 21, 2019 - Pretty good CdP here, on the riper side of medium bodied, fleshy and juicy with savoury and herbal flavours pushing through. Showed a slight spike of alcohol and acidity for me but still feels in balance, some nice undergrowth and animal complexity adding some interest. Quite a full and long finish, tannins not aggressive. Like it at this point, may not be a real long termer but OK for a while yet.

May 17, 2017 - Top notch Chateauneuf du Pape. A wine of great clarity, texture and balance. Soft, fruity and deliciously dry.

February 14, 2017 - Solid CdP with a medium body and nice balance. Didn't find this too modern or over ripe at all. If anything, a slight touch more fruit would have improved the taste in my opinion, however, the nose was very fruity and the wine smelled delicious. Overall it had nice clarity and the flavours had a smooth, linear transition in the mouth. Still has a bit of bite to it that more time in the cellar would alleviate for those who enjoy softer tannin and less acidity, but was still enjoyable at this point. Has the structure to age much, much longer, but not sure it has the fruit to support it. Decanted 60 minutes prior to drinking and drank over 1 1/2 hours, during which it continued to open up throughout.

November 22, 2015 - Big and rich! Grenache characteristics dominate on the nose and palate, including ripe berries, coco powder notes, and powdery to dusty tannins. Modern leaning in style, just a touch stewy, solidly structured. 90-91.

September 25, 2014 - Allowed to breathe for thirty minutes prior to tasting, and developed further over an hour-long meal. A complex Chateauneuf-du-Pape that can be enjoyed in 2014, and mature until at least 2025. Appeared garnet in color and transparent, with a medium number of slowly descending legs. On the nose it was vibrant and inviting, with black current, strawberry, and a touch of blackberry. The palate began with redcurrant and strawberry, but it evolved into earth tobacco, blackberry, and black currant. The tannins were present with grip with a lingering finish to this medium bodied wine.
