  March 13, 2016 - Now this is s nice wine. 4th wine tonight was a PN from Russian River Valley. One of the nicer PNs I've had actually. Smooth red berries - wild raspberries and strawberries - with spiciness to them. A bit above medium high in acidity. Not too much of tannins. A bit spicy in the finish together with lots of red berries. Really nice.

  December 4, 2015 - Pours a fairly pale ruby, even for a pinot. The nose is extremely agreeable and inviting right from the pop and pour. Fresh red berries, some herbs, a slight hint of oak. A little candied, but not over-extracted, over-ripe or over-oaked at all. Medium bodied palate, balanced, fairly long. Sweeter than most Burgundies in the same price range, but it has good acidity and a slight tannic grip to balance it. Really very well made and much better than expected. Easily beats every Burgundy pinot in the price range that I've tried, and that's coming from a francophile.
