January 13, 2018 - Gold. Subtle but attractive nose of apple compote, with wave after wave of aroma following: orange, Bramley, lemon peel, lanolin...and oxidised notes. On the palate, beautifully full and long, with perfect acidity. Intriguing and delicious, though the bruised-apple flavours that come through now and then are distracting. 12% (though the body would suggest more,) cork.

March 28, 2016 - Gorgeous. Very energetic and delicate for white rhone. 60% viognier and the rest roussane. Developed layers with about 30-40 min air. Very pretty but excellent texture and structure.

November 20, 2015 - Good wine, certainly idiosyncratic, almost a whiff of Gewurtztraminer on the nose. The acid is here and adequate but it's in a different place than I'm used to, hits in the roof of the mouth rather than along the tongue. Seems a little disjointed at this stage but it makes you think and the components are interesting.

November 9, 2015 - Amazing showing. I wish I had a case. Pear and apple preserves. Bitter white flowers. Slight oil texture. Rocking deal. Buy buy buy.

September 17, 2015 - Quite difficult wine to rate for me because I am not used to the style. Quite low in acid but with a great depth of flavour that become even greater with 4 days in the fridge in a half full bottle. I will say this much: it is a perfect match with oven roasted bell peppers, zucchini and red onion that in my case was the basis for a vegetarian spaghetti.
