September 19, 2020 - 4.5 years after the other bottle, was nice and mellow with some bbq on the patio. Very nice.

Compared to other decade old petites, I found this somewhat boring and singular. Will hold my last couple bottles for the 15/20 years marks as an experiment. Hoping the 2007-2009 vintages will outperform this. Drink/hold.

August 13, 2018 - Last bottle of 4 that I had bought. Held the last one to see how it would develop and it did not disappoint. Tannins well integrated. Deep inky purple color you'd expect from a Petit Sirah, blackberry, tar notes. Medium bodied finish. This is in a good place and could last a couple more years, but seems to be fully mature now.

June 10, 2017 - Still drinking well after decanting for an hour or so. Cassis on the nose. Slight brown tinge on the edge. Long, dry finish. Holding up well.
