  July 12, 2016 - Decent showing for my second NZ Pinot. Nose is rather muted. Palate has expected fruit notes with a bit of earthiness. I got the same hint of bitterness on the finish that a prior reviewer noted. I enjoyed this much more at cellar temp than room temp as it warmed up. Nothing to write home about but an enjoyable glass for the evening.

  June 8, 2015 - Drank beautifully on the unscrew 'n pour - nice aromas, slightly earthy and generous fruity pinot flavors. There was also a bitter oak note, which I didn't mind until the second day, where the fruit seemed to dry out and leave a dominant oak note with lots of oak tannin.

  April 14, 2015 - I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this wine. It was balanced, good pinot-like flavor profile, and the acidity I look for in a pinot. I thought it was a very good QPA for a pinot at $16.
