July 2, 2021 - Dark cherry and acid holding nicely. Some good development of tertiary notes. Earth, tar, forest. Rounded out nicely with time. Perhaps a testament to the vintage.
May 7, 2021 - Really nice bottle. Let decant for about 20 minutes. Well balanced.

December 25, 2017 - Entry-level inexpensive Brunello. Good value, easy drinking but don't expect too much depth or complexity at this price. '
March 11, 2017 - No decant; good structure and balance; good buy at $20; probably good as it will ever be.
December 19, 2016 - Deep red color. Smooth with a slight bite.
October 11, 2016 - Ready to go now. Good balance between the subdued fruit and tannic acidity.
September 27, 2016 - Consistent with last year's note, but I will just add that, after just having the riserva from this vintage, it is a notable difference.
May 13, 2016 - Bottle #3 with Italian food (#1 was 04 Valpolicella and #2 was 06 Brunello reviewed). We let it breath for over an hour. Dried red fruits and wood on the nose. Dried fruits and earthy on the palate that finished short.
